REAL PEOPLE, REAL PARTNERSHIPS
In Malawi the Women's Legal Resources Centre have worked for more than a decade to secure justice for women and girls, through their work on land reform, tackling gender-based violence and promoting women's social, political economic empowerment.
They are supported in their work by the Active Learning Centre in Scotland, working together with local communities on access to justice, and supporting women Councillors and MPs.
Countries and communities will only flourish when there are strong legal frameworks where justice matters more than status.
Just one of the thousands of people-to-people partnerships between Scotland and Malawi, working across all 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
