On Thursday 9th March 2017 we held a schools forum in partnership with One World Centre Dundee: Practical ideas for exploring global citizenship in the classroom
It took place at St John's High School, Dundee from 4.30 to 7pm and teachers, student teachers and school staff (and even some students from St John's!) joined us for an evening full of ideas, discussion and shared experience.

4.30pm Fairtrade tea, coffee, biscuits and networking
4.45pm Presentation from One World Centre Dundee - Importance of embedding global citizenship across school, how the SDGs provides a framework to do that and how a number of topics fit well with the SDGs, such as Fairtrade
5pm Presentation from James Johnstone, Just Trading Scotland
5.15pm Presentation from Scotland Malawi Partnership - explain what we do as a network, how school partnerships are one way explore global citizenship in schools and also using Malawi as a focus across the school.
5.30 pm Groups to have 15 minutes at each station - leader there to facilitate a discussion around the topic and explain what they have done in their school.
