Schools Forum - Inverness

3 May 2017

We hosted our Schools Forum at Inverness High School, in partnership with the Highland One World Centre, on 3rd May 2017.

It was an engaging and informative evening and great to meet so many teachers and education professionals interested in schools partnerships, the sustainable development goals and global citizenship.

We started the evening with presentations by Catriona Willis from Highland One World Centre, Audrey Kellacher from Lochardil Primary, Lindsay Muluzi from Inverness Royal Academy and Emily Mnyayi, our Head of Youth and Schools.

We then split up into discussion groups and rotated around three groups looking at resources for global citizenship in schools, the sustainable development goals - a whole-school approach and creative approaches to school partnerships.

We finished with networking over Fairtrade snacks and of course Mzuzu coffee and Malawi gin and tonics!
