An excellent opportunity for Primary and Secondary teachers, school staff and other educational professionals to share best practice, reflect on school partnerships and be inspired by global citizenship.

Inverness High School, Tuesday 8th September, 4pm – 5.30pm (refreshments from 3.30pm)

  • Free SMP Resource Booklet, including ideas for Primary and Secondary lessons, and information about other useful resources in this area.
  • Learn about how the SMP can support your link or help you find a partner school, hear from other schools in your area, discuss challenges faced with school partnerships and teaching global citizenship – and explore possible solutions.
  • Information and resources from : LINK Community Development, Traidcraft, Think Global, Inspire > Aspire, Mary’s Meals, Just Trading Scotland, Global Learning Programme, Classrooms for Malawi
  • Networking over wine and nibbles! You don’t have to be a member of the SMP or have a school partnership to come along, everyone welcome.

We'll be holding a Youth Roadshow event in the morning of September 8th at Inverness High School. We would like to invite Secondary Schools to bring along groups of students (S4 to S6) for a morning of interactive activities, debate and a chance to talk to other young people.
