Tenth Anniversary Ceilidh

To mark ten years of international development, the Scottish Government are inviting those who have been involved in the programme -or are just keen to learn more- to attend a ceilidh of Scottish and African dancing.

The week of the 2-7th November will mark ten years since the Scottish Government signed the formal Cooperation Agreement with the Government of Malawi.

The Scottish Government have a series of events to mark the anniversary, many of which SMP members and the public are warmly invited to attend.

Saturday 7th November, 18.00 - 21.30: Tenth Anniversary Ceilidh

Grassmarket Community Project, Edinburgh (EH1 2QA)

To mark ten years of international development, the Scottish Government are inviting those who have been involved in the programme –or are just keen to learn more- to attend a ceilidh of Scottish and African dancing. Fusion music coming from Rise Kagona (formerly of the Bundu Boys) and the Pentlands Ceilidh Band. Suggested donation of £10 on the door.
