The Church of Scotland has historic links with Malawi. The congregation at Bothwell would like to foster relationships with the Nyungwe Congregation of the Synod of Livingstonia in the hope that we might strengthen goodwill between our nations and churches. Bothwell is a strong, active, professionally-based congregation with much to offer in expertise and resource. As a congregation we are hoping that such a partnership will teach us many things about better being the Church in our day. We are open to guidance as to how best we ought to proceed and will happily discuss with our Malawian partners how best we might support them and they us.
