COP26 Youth Hub in Malawi

The President of Malawi has challenged Scotland to “ignite a movement of climate change activists". To this end, the SMP is supporting an exciting partnership between the 2050 Climate Group in Scotland and our sister network in Malawi, the Malawi Scotland Partnership (MaSP). Together, they are running a major COP26 Youth Hub in Lilongwe which will bring together hundreds of young people from around Malawi to learn about climate action and connect, live, with various COP26 events through the two weeks of the conference. This work is funded by the Scottish Government.
